USA Women Lose World Cup To Japan in Choke!

I will readily admit that I'm not a soccer expert but in watching the USA Women's Soccer Team lose to Japan I can only say the word: CHOKE! I don't use this word lightly in sports like so many so called "expert journalists" do. The people in the sports palaces of ESPN and the rest of sports' world are always using the word choke when it doesn't really apply. But to put it bluntly the USA Women's Soccer Team may be the greatest chokers in modern sports history.

It's like the NBA player who can't hit the foul shots at the end of the game and they say he choked. Unfortunately, this is not necessarily a choke unless the guy shoots 90% for the season and then fails. These guys usually can't hit the foul shot because they just can't shoot that well and really don't have the skill level and never seem to develop it.

In the case of the USA Women's Soccer they were playing against HOBBITS! My god, the Japanese girls only average around 5. 4" in height! The USA Women looked like giants compared to these girls. They were bigger, faster, stronger, more athletic, and had more skill in all areas! Yet, they found a way to allow the Japanese Women's Soccer Team to tie the game and then beat them in overtime!

How did they lose then? Well, there is old axiom in sports about allowing an inferior team to stay in the game, and if you do they will gain the confidence to find a magical way to beat you! In this case perhaps the USA Women started to celebrate mentally before the game was over! I've seen this in sports all my life and in some cases the players who have this type of mentality don't have a killer instinct and think the game is over before it's really over! If I was a soccer player on this team I would be embarrassed by losing to players who could barely see over the bar in the restaurant after their team had won the game!

Well around the world there is cheering, celebration, and screaming in the underground universe of the Hobbits, because they have won and defeated the monsters of the big, bad, and evil USA. That should be a lesson to everyone not to take little people likely. If only the goddamn US politicians could understand that. And congrats to those cute little Japanese Hobbit Girls.....you showed the world baby ...yes, you did...and you deserve the Cup!

Well Obama where are the jobs? You know all those wonderful jobs that were supposed to be created? Well it's not going to happen and all those other jobs....they have been outsourced. The sad part is just how stupid Obama and the Democrats really are because they could be beating the Republicans over the head with this club but just don't get it.

The Republicans and their friendly corporate empire have destroyed American jobs, wages and benefits with outsourcing. These bastard want to pay slave wages that's what they are all about and of course, The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is all for it. It's sad that these bastards are allowed to use the name U.S. in their title because they should have to register as a foreign corporation because they have never seen a job they did want to export.

Well Obama how's your buddy Bill Clinton doing? You remember him don't you, Larry Summer's old friend. You remember Summers don't you. He gave us derivatives with Bill and also NAFTA. How's that working out! That really helped didn't it! And when that 's not enough to destroy the American worker what do both sides want to do? They want to import cheap lateral markets known as illegal immigrants. Just listen to both the right and left and they will both tell you how much they help America.

There is a reason Cesar Chavez marched against illegal immigration and that's because he knew what it did to his union of legal workers: it destroyed the wage base and the benefits. Right now the hot jobs in the country are computer science majors. But don't worry the legendary Corporate Whore Bill Gates has a plan for that and it's called H 1 B visas. Gates and his friends have probably driven down the wages of computer scientists by at least 35 to 55% over the last 5 years.

Isn't it great everyone screams about jobs and they are lying through their teeth. The low life scientifically illiterate Republicans scream that environmental regulations are costing jobs while they outsource everything. The sad fact is that these polluting bastards are the ones that are really costing jobs because of the damage to our streams, rivers, lakes and oceans. Fishing, hunting, and tourism are some of the largest industries for most states and they are killing these people. I'm still wondering how long it will take for the likes of Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann and the rest of so called “Progressive America” to finally wake up to the fact that President Obama is nothing but a “Corporate Lackey” and a total fraud. Obama has now appointed Republican and General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt to serve as Chair of the President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. Check just about every appointment that Obama has made and you will immediately realize that Corporate America, Israel and The Military Industrial Complex own this so called “Avatar of Change!”

General Electric is part of the Military Industrial Complex and one of the world's great polluters. They will now have even more ability to destroy what is left of America and the middle class. General Electric is a U.S. Chamber of Commerce's dream by outsourcing jobs and cheap labor. With the appointment of Immelt Corporate America will be calling more of the shots for a President who is basically afraid of the Lunatic Republicans who continue to push him so far out of the mainstream of America by calling him a Socialist. Obama may be the saddest excuse for a president during my lifetime. He is Corporate America's greatest sucker this country has ever known. General Electric made a fortune by selling products and services to China but paid no income taxes on it. In fact, General Electric paid 0$ in income tax for the year 2010!!!!!!! I wonder if everyone could zero out their tax returns what this country would do! As some corporate fascist bastard once said, “taxes are for the rest of America!”

Both the Right and Left fight for the misinterpretation of history and every piece of information in America that you listen to daily. The Right will tell you that the Civil War, or the War of the States as they call it below the Mason Dixon Line, was not really about slavery but really about economics, etc. Yes, they are right it was about economics and the ability of the South to survive by USING SLAVES! But the Left in its usual we can't offend anyone attitude refuses to allow newspapers and other media of actually mentioning the race of criminals and suspects in most instances no matter how heinous the crime. These are just a couple of the items that are constantly reinforced into our “Psyche” everyday. And this stuff works! Independent studies show that Fox News listeners are some of the most misinformed and stupid people in the country!

It is a constant battle to misinform, change context and control what you see, read, hear or even think! Now from the Mountains of Academic Stupidity comes the latest reincarnation of Mark Twain's Huck Finn. Alan Gribben an Auburn University Professor is editing a new version of Huckleberry Finn which he hopes will be more accepted by the public and schools. In Gribben's version the word Nigger and Injun will be replaced by Slaves and Native Americans. Gribben argues because the book is banned by so many groups (it ranks fourth on the list of Banned Books in America: 1) Impressions edited by Jack Booth 2) Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck 3) The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger 4) The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain) this would allow more people to access it.

The Censorship Crowd has finally awakened from their long sleep to protest such “Politically Correct Journalistic Sleight of Hand” and immediately realizes that this changes the entire history and context of Twain's work! Of course, these words do offend some people, however everything ever written will offend someone in America (one should actually investigate Twain to find out how he really used these words)! Perhaps Gribben can now reedit Rap Music to remove the millions of N- Words chanted relentlessly under the guise of music!

The editing of Twain's Classic Work is part of the undoing of the fabric of America. Every group, race, ethnic clan or subculture tries to homogenize and pasteurize their group to become some hygienically “Cloned Group of Angels.” The Jews will tell you that they weren't involved in America's Slave Trade but historical records show that they were. The Protestants will tell you they too weren't involved with such ghastly deeds such as slavery but once again the records kept by maritime workers show otherwise. White Europeans are constantly blamed for every ill propagated against every other culture on earth yet when one looks at the history of Native Americans in both North and South America one can see that they were just as violent and brutal as their white counterparts.

This misinformation and disinformation is accepted as truth because it is shown on television, the internet, newspaper, or in a movie. A perfect example of this is in the “Gangster” or “Mob” movies. Almost all of the criminals are Italians! Jews and other groups are usually shown as accountants or non “thug” like creatures! Yet, historically the Mafia used many Jews, Irish and other groups as hit men in Murder Incorporated to take out their enemies and the “Jewish Crime Groups” formed coalitions with the “Italian Mobsters.” Yet, if you ask one-hundred people on the street about the “Mob” almost everyone of them will finger only the Italians!

This is all about context and history. Because if you can remove something from the context and its history than you can isolate it in the political reality that you wish to control! Huck Finn like all texts must be read and studied from the period when it was written. The context and its history must not be changed or taken apart because to do so allows those on either side of the political spectrum to destroy the meaning and truth of Twain's work. Both the Right and the Left in America are constantly trying to isolate content from context to gain their own political victories and to disinform and misinform Americans. The reworking of Twain's Huck Finn is just another example of George Orwell's “Ministry of Truth” coming to a book near you!

Lebron James and The Pillaging and Plundering of Cleveland’s Soul

I grew up in Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. It’s a different kind of place from the rest of the country in my mind. Two things are ingrained in the people who work and live there that are not found in too many places in America: a sense of fairness and a sense of respect. I worked in a steel mill in Eastern Ohio one summer while going to undergraduate school with every color, ideology, and creed but the dirt, the sweat, the pollution and the pain knew no color or race. These were hard working men like my dad and so many who built this great nation with steel made on machines borne in the early 1900’s for companies who would not modernize. These men kept the steel production going as long as they could on such inferior equipment and then watched as their retirement plans and pensions were destroyed by these companies whom they had given everything to.

There was no respect paid to the men and their families by the companies or the government who allowed such plundering to occur. These men labored in these mills under extreme poisonous environmental conditions, their lives cut short by many of the carcinogens which they took in during their working years. I have the greatest respect for the people of these areas because they encompass the best of America.

Now a different type of psychological plundering, pillaging and disrespect has taken hold in Cleveland-The Lebron James Fiasco sponsored by David Stern and the NBA and brought to you by ESPN and rest of the sporting world. What occurred with Lebron James’ signing with the Miami Heat can only be described as a disgrace on a monumental scale. The sad part is the number of cities, networks and so called “journalists” that participated in this Dog and Pony Show all at the expense of one city----Cleveland. ESPN has been criticized before for their cozy relationships with athletes where ESPN ends up being part of the news rather than reporting the news.

The aftermath of this spectacle includes an owner, who probably went overboard in his criticisms of James, a commissioner in Davis Stern that is clueless to what has just transpired, and another bad mark on sports and sports journalism in America and a city, Cleveland who just had their soul ripped from their bodies.

James has right to go anywhere he wants to play basketball including Miami with his friends. The criticism of him “tanking” or “choking” in this year’s playoffs against Boston are groundless. What probably did happen however, that no one wants to talk about and it’s observable for the last two years is that James’ legs went! Yes, I know you will never hear this from the so called “pundits” on the NBA or ESPN because they build all of these stars into “Supermen” and unfortunately, the fans and often the players themselves believe it. As a biologist and one who played a lot basketball over the years it doesn’t take an anatomist and physiologist to look at James’ highly muscular physique which is partially genetic and partially due to his workout regime to see that such muscles require a tremendous amount of oxygen and because James handles the ball so much he expends an enormous amount of energy. Furthermore, it doesn’t matter if you are only twenty-five years old you only have so many games in your legs and your body each year especially at such a high level of competition. What most of the experts failed to pick up while watching these games was that Boston made James work really hard to get many of his shots. In those games James’ shots were often flat and his quickness diminished a normal sign of leg and muscle fatigue. Was this the point where James realized he couldn’t win because he needed a lot more help to get to a championship level because he didn’t have enough left in his body to carry the team? James will most likely never admit that he didn’t have enough left in the tank because that would diminish his stature as one of the Supermen of the NBA but a close look at his mechanics and shots in the late rounds of the playoffs appear to tell a different story.

But what will diminish his fame and reputation no matter how many championships he wins in Miami or elsewhere is the manner of his leaving Cleveland not the fact that he left. There is arrogance in recent years in among athletes in Professional American Sports that puts them above the game they are part of, and unfortunately it appears mainly in black athletes. This is something that seriously needs addressed but I doubt if Stern or anyone in the major sports will take it on until it’s too late. James basically held “A Jesters Court.” Unfortunately, for Cleveland they were the butt of the joke, intentional or unintentional-- it doesn’t matter. Stern allowed this spectacle to happen but it’s reflection on the NBA is that their character is forever ruined. No one should be above the game itself. No one should be allowed to insult your former employer and in this case the fans that supported James. Has anyone in the history of sports ever seen anything like this circus? No! The egos involved here is one of the things that’s wrong with sports in America today. Did Magic Johnson, or Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul Jabar, Jim Brown, Michael Jordon, Clyde Frazier, Mickey Mantle or any of the greatest athletes who have played sports pull a stunt like this? The argument that these are different times is nonsense. This was a classless act and lack of sportsmanship on the part of James and his cohorts. They all put their egos, and self gratification above the game they played and the athletes in all sports that had come before them. James disrespected the city of Cleveland and the fans who embraced him. James’ lack of sense of fairness in how this should have been done is astounding and those who advised him on this did not have his, Cleveland’s, or the NBA’s best interest in mind. The people, city of Cleveland and the state of Ohio who are hard working deserve more respect than that and so did the NBA. Instead they got the absolute worst possible scenario carried and promoted by ESPN and the sports world for a few extra bucks! When James is 45 instead of 25 he will look back on this day in sadness. You play the game whether it’s on an outdoor play ground as kid or at the NBA level to get the respect and fairness you don’t always find in everyday life. But James forgot those principles and instead failed to do the same for the city and team that allowed him to play the game!

Obama promised labor he would be different. He promised labor he would restore their rights. He promised the Unions that they would have a say in their destiny. Labor embraced him and gave him the needed victories in many states that brought him to the presidency. So it’s been three months into his administration and what has the President who promised the labor unions and the middle class their dignity come up with.......SCREW THE LABOR MOVEMENT AND UNIONS!

The Employee Free Choice Act would allow the labor unions to bargain on an even playing field appears to be dead on arrival! Obama has said nothing while the corporate whore of a senator the infamous, Senator Feinstein from California who was actually a cosponsor of the original bill is now against it. It appears that the Obama and the dems are still owned by the corporate fascist Chamber of Commerce of the US and other industry groups.

Obama has done what he said he wouldn’t do...he has basically funded the corporations while screwing the middle class and labor. Now even some of the middle class tax breaks are in jeopardy as democratic senators and congressman are given their marching orders from lobbyists of industry.

To all those out there who thought Obama would be different they were mistaken. He is owned by the same people who owned Bush and his gang. It’s the American Way! Corporations own America and no matter what the electorate says, the corporations never lose!

Perhaps the only method of getting these people’s attention is to do what is going in Europe from marches to holding executives hostage. But that will never happen in America, the land of sheep who believe in “magic leaders.” Their lives are being destroyed and still they sit and hope for change while the corporations will never allow it to happen. And Obama......well the middle class just got screwed again. Did you really think you had a chance!

McConnell Spy Chief Pushes for Total Government Surveillance of Americans!

The United States is moving towards complete government control of all communications including emails, telephone, mail and anything else the Nazi-Orwellian Machine of the Bush Administration can tap, monitor or steal. The lunatic Director of National Intelligence, the former incompetent head of NSA Mike McConnell, wants complete control and the total removal of privacy from Americans. McConnell wants total surveillance of Americans! Today he stated before an audience of students in St. Mary's City, Missouri that if they could have tapped all Americans they could have prevented 911 and gives the example of Mohamed Atta.

This is a complete FUCKING LIE! AND EVERYONE IN THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY KNOWS IT! The USA and the Bush Administration had enough information and were warned but dropped the ball. Furthermore, the failure of intelligence agencies to work together was a major problem and still has not been solved.

McConnell and the fear monger fucking Nazi Republicans continue to push for the complete take over of every aspect of American life. This comes on the heels of DARPA's (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) pronouncement they want a LifeLog program which indexes every single piece of information about every American for their database. This would include every web page you ever surfed, every photo, everything you have ever done tied to your emails, phone records, bills etc. to develop a series of threads with GPS monitoring of your every move! DARPA is trying to get research proposals from universities and scientists on this system.

McConnell believes that the government should have access to your emails, file transfers, search histories and everything you do on the Internet! In the 90's McConnell wanted a backdoor put into every piece of encryption software made! McConnell is noted for his exaggerations and unsubstantiated statistics which turn out to be bogus. He is the typical fear monger of the Bush Administration and continues to try and scare Congress with these techniques. He lacks any serious understanding about intelligence in terms of probability and systems.

One of the reasons for the basic failure of intelligence agencies is the reliance on technology instead of agents on the ground. This started during the Reagan Administration and continues today. They do not have the people to understand the culture, language or mentality of these countries. So what do McConnell and the Bush Nazis want to do? They want to increase our use of technology when IT will not help them. These motherfuckers want total control of our society under the fucking guise that they are protecting us!

WHEN WILL WE WAKE UP AND DRAG THESE BASTARDS OUT OF GOVERNMENT AND RESTORE OUR BILL OF RIGHTS AND CONSTITUTION? WHAT WILL IT TAKE!

The NSA is spying on all Americans on both the Internet and other communications including all land and cell phones. The Internet revelations are what I predicted over a year ago when my intelligence sources claimed that the Bush Administration was lying through their teeth as usual. Now a retired AT &T technician Mark Klein has opened the floodgates by his revelations that all web traffic is funneled into a secret room of the NSA. A splitter device is wired to a secret room with only top secret NSA clearance. This is an amazing revelation considering that the low-life Democrats are caving in to the Orwellian rhetoric that the Telecom industry should be given immunity for allowing the government to illegally spy on Americans.

The sad part of this is that the Media bought the Bush lie about “we are only investigating and listening to International traffic.” There is no fucking democratic government left in the United States. There is not one freedom that the Bush Neofascist Neocons have not destroyed. But the sadder irony of all of this is that NSA are totally overwhelmed by info and are getting little if any valuable information with these methods. Anyone who understands algorithms will immediately see the folly in the lies of this government and the NSA. Instead they are spying on Americans who oppose the Fascist take over of this nation and are building databases on them. And the American Populaces sits back and plays with their electronic gadgets while their country and their democracy is in total ruin.

It is hard to imagine how an entire nation would succumb so easily but as long as you can amuse the idiot populace you can probably do anything you want in America. Americans may be some of the most stupid people in the world. Time after time they vote against their own self-interest, economic well being and freedoms. But H.L. Mencken said it best:

Well it just doesn't get any better than this. Senator Larry "I'm Not Gay" Craig now has second thoughts on resigning. I have written on this before about Washington D.C. being the hypocrite capitol of the world but they just keep the insanity coming and coming (no pun intended). The District of C...s....k..s as some people in the lobbying field have called it (like they have room to talk) is the by far the greatest concentration of losers, con artists, liars, and criminals per capita in any place in the US....and I'm talking about Congress!

What most people don't realize is that Congress has a much higher percentage of homosexuals than the American population. What is even more disturbing is that many of these so called church goers and others refuse to believe is that more of them are Republicans than Democrats. Yes, the party of "Family Values" whose platform is to beat the drums of the sins of homosexuality are the party of homosexuals....not the Democrats. The Democrats have their share but they just can't compete with the Republican Suckorama!

The sad part as I have said in other columns is that the media are to blame for this. They know where everyone hangs out in the District of C...s....k..s. and whether those bars,strip clubs, and haunts are for men or women. If these people are going to praise God and claim some moral superiority while sucking a quick one in the men's room then they deserve to be outed. The pompous arrogance of this Republican Fascist Party is beyond any political party in the history of this country.

It appears now that a few more on the Republican Suckulatorial Tour may be outed soon including one Southern Senator and a few more House members. What is even more disturbing about this is that intelligence contacts and sources that I have known for years tell me that the Republicans have protected a number of foreign diplomats (and Republican Party members) who have been pedophiles, had homosexual agendas and have willing allowed homosexual activity at the White House.

As one jaded fellow I knew who worked in D.C. for years put it: "They are all c...s....ks. That's the way this town works. You are either blowing someone in some way or your getting blown in another way. They don't call D.C. the District of C...s..k..s for nothing!"

The federal ID would be mandatory for getting on a plane, going to a National Park or even walking into a federal building.

The Chief of Security Incompetence Michael Chertoff says that this is necessary for the fight on terrorism and security purposes. The supposed ID will be made in combination with the state driver’s license into one ID with information connecting to federal databases.

The very essence of our Democracy is in peril. There is no doubt going to be a chip implanted in your Federal ID so that the Police State Government can track your every move. Like the Patriot Act which in its own Orwellian way reminds us of what fear can do to a nation that has little time for rational thought when our liberties are taken away they are not given back.

Under this administration the federal government and intelligence agencies already have databases not on terrorists but on people who they perceive as a threat to their policies and their take over of our government. These include Quakers, nuns, priests, scientists, and even librarians. Bush, Cheney, Rove, Chertoff, and Gonzales have used the fear mongering of 911 to destroy our liberties under which this great nation was founded. The entire concept of the CIA, NSA, and the FBI in intercepting communications and being able to analyze by algorithms the information is without merit as any mathematician and scientist would tell you. They actually have better probability of hitting the lotto back to back. Instead almost all the information is on the citizens and companies of the US. It has already been proven that the so called terrorists seldom use telephones for communication purposes. Instead they are using the internet which NSA computers cannot handle because their algorithms are overwhelmed The populace of this nation has been lied to by this government at every point from Weapons of Mass Destruction to thousands of fake alerts used to destroy liberties and scare the public.

The former Surgeon General Richard Carmona has stated before Congress that the Bush Administration repeatedly tried to weaken and suppress very important public health reports and studies to engender the politics of the Right Wing.

Furthermore, the Bush Neofascists prevented Carmona from talking about or releasing reports on sex education, stem cells or even global health and environmental issues. I have written before of the anti-scientific insanity of this administration but now you have it directly from the Surgeon General of the United States. And you believe this government gives a damn about you and your family? They try, and sometimes succeed in suppressing anything that would disrupt the Corporate Fascists who run them. Never in the history of our country has more information been changed, suppressed, and destroyed. They will stop at nothing to control and maintain their regime and criminal empire over the citizens of America. There is not one part of government that they have not destroyed. Well if you haven’t seen the insanity over the latest electronic gadget…the IPHONE…you must be living on Jupiter. Yes, here is the next electronic do everything that you probably don’t need to get done and it’s only $675.00 plus. But that’s just the beginning because you have your monthly charges, taxes and of course if you were to terminate your two year contract early that would be just another $175.00 or more…thank you …you’ll take two right. Did you read the fine print in this contract?

Of course you are dealing with AT& T who has one of the worst records with consumers in the last number of years concerning complaints. But I’m sure you’ll get along quite well. Here are a few more things you’ll just love about AT&T: 1) they furnished NSA with private call records and information of phone customers without their consent or knowledge. 2) They also helped in developing the wiretapping for NSA and 3) there are rumors that AT&T is now monitoring peoples’ use on their services to see where they are going for potential illegal downloads and pirating.

Of course you made a real bargain when you supported Steve Jobs and Apple too. If someone ever wrote the truth about the computer industry it would be hard to decide who has screwed consumers more Jobs or Bill Gates. Apple would constantly win in some categories for overpricing of their products by 300 to 400%.

So it’s really a nice package. I’m sure the government is really happy and wishes everyone would get an IPHONE. This way they could spy on everyone at once on their FASCIST IPHONE NETWORK. And you wonder why I think there is little hope for America.

GOP Hopes for More Terrorist Attacks on US!

Dennis Mulligan the Arkansas GOP Chairman, said in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette: “At the end of the day, I believe fully the president is doing the right thing, and I think all we need is some attacks on American soil like we had on September 11, 2001 and the naysayers will come around very quickly to appreciate not only the commitment for President Bush, but the sacrifice that has been made by men and women to protect this country."

Where in the fuck does the Republican Party get these damn idiots! It is clear to see that these fucking whoremongers care little about democracy. They care only about keeping power by manipulating the public. They want more attacks on our soil! I would like to know do they put a fucking needle in the back or your head when you are a Republican and take out 85% of your fucking brain? Falwell: The Hate Monger is Dead

One of the world's great hate mongers is dead. Jerry Falwell of the ill named Moral Majority and Liberty University has passed away at age 73. Falwell is one the most polarizing and hateful figures ever to use the pulpit as a political salesman for the his so called church and university as well as "God-Fearing White Fascists" every where. Falwell would talk of God on one hand and spew the hatred against everyone who believed otherwise. He was one of the leading homophobic preachers and constantly recited rhetoric such as "911 attacks on this country were the result of homosexuals, abortionists, and liberals"- just to name a few.

He once said that there was Jewish Guy walking around the earth who was the "Antichrist." Falwell was a practitioner of Dominion Theology. He believed that white folks should dominate the earth and rape it environmentally because God would renew it when he returned. He did not believe in the separation of church and state and with his legions of Christian Fascists successfully influenced this government down the path of destruction which we are now on. He was a war monger who wanted to blow up the Middle East and wanted Israel to control it because he believed some ludicrous interpretation of scripture that when all the Jews were back in Israel Christ would return.

Under his reconstructionist view of theology he believed that Christians should control every institution and everything in the world through whatever force was necessary including war, political conquest and the use of the courts to remove the separation of church and state from the books. Falwell also believed that we could survive a nuclear war, and that God would save people like him because he thought he would then rule the earth.

Falwell's beliefs included that everything in the Bible is true. That salvation is obtained totally through faith and not through performing good works and living a moral life. This is especially true in Falwell's ministry because there was scant mention of the poor or those in need.

Although Falwell preached much of this nonsense he was basically given a free pass by the media who were afraid of the religious right and people like Falwell. Of course, Falwell was also one of the anti evolutionists who tried to get creationism in the school as science. Despite all the damage Falwell did to society and the people of this country, he is being honored in some circles which tells you what a sick society we have become.

Falwell is gone but there is another Right Wing Preacher somewhere ready to take up his cause and spew the hate once more in the name of their God.

LIMBAUGH: On California contractor C.C. Myers completing repairs 74 days early on the earthquake-damaged Santa Monica Freeway: "There was one key element that made this happen. One key thing: The governor of California declared the [freeway] a disaster area and by so doing eliminated the need for competitive bids.... Government got the hell out of the way." (TV show, 4/13/94) "They gave this guy [Myers] the job without having to go through the rigmarole...of giving 25 percent of the job to a minority-owned business and 25 percent to a woman." (TV show, 4/15/94)

REALITY: There was competitive bidding: Myers beat four other contractors for the job. Affirmative action rules applied: At least 40 percent of the subcontracts went to minority or women-owned firms. Far from getting out of the way, dozens of state employees were on the job 24 hours a day. Furthermore, the federal government picked up the tab for the whole job (L.A. Times, 5/1/94).

LIMBAUGH: "Banks take the risks in issuing student loans and they are entitled to the profits." (Radio show, quoted in FRQ, Summer/93)

REALITY: Banks take no risks in issuing student loans, which are federally insured.

LIMBAUGH: "Don't let the liberals deceive you into believing that a decade of sustained growth without inflation in America [in the '80s] resulted in a bigger gap between the haves and the have-nots. Figures compiled by the Congressional Budget Office dispel that myth." (Ought to Be, p. 70)

REALITY: CBO figures do nothing of the sort. Its numbers for after-tax incomes show that in 1980, the richest fifth of our country had eight times the income of the poorest fifth. By 1989, the ratio was more than 20 to one.

LIMBAUGH: Comparing the 1950s with the present: "And I might point out that poverty and economic disparities between the lower and upper classes were greater during the former period." (Told You So, p. 84)

REALITY: Income inequality, as measured by the U.S. Census Bureau, fell from the 1940s to the late 1960s, and then began rising. Inequality surpassed the 1950 level in 1982 and rose steadily to all-time highs in 1992. (Census Bureau's "Money Income of Households, Families and Persons in the United States")

LIMBAUGH: "Oh, how they relished blaming Reagan administration policies, including the mythical reductions in HUD's budget for public housing, for creating all of the homeless! Budget cuts? There were no budget cuts! The budget figures show that actual construction of public housing increased during the Reagan years." (Ought to Be, p. 242-243)

REALITY: In 1980, 20,900 low-income public housing units were under construction; in 1988, 9,700, a decline of 54 percent ;Statistical Abstracts of the U.S).In terms of 1993 dollars, the HUD budget for the construction of new public housing was slashed from $6.3 billion in 1980 to $683 million in 1988. "We're getting out of the housing business. Period," a Reagan HUD official declared in 1985.

LIMBAUGH: "The poorest people in America are better off than the mainstream families of Europe." (Radio show, quoted in FRQ, Spring/93)

REALITY: Huh? The average cash income of the poorest 20 percent of Americans is $5,226; the average cash income of four major European nations--Germany, France, United Kingdom and Italy--is $19,708.

LIMBAUGH: "There's no such thing as an implied contract." (Radio show, quoted in FRQ, Spring/93)

REALITY: Every first year law student knows there is.

LIMBAUGH: "Ladies and gentlemen, we now know why there is this institutional opposition to low tax rates in the liberal wing of the Democratic Party. It's because [low tax rates] are biblical in nature and in root. When you can trace the lowering of tax rates on grain from 90 percent to 20 percent giving seven fat years during the days of Pharaoh in Egypt, why then you are tracing the roots of lower taxes and rising prosperity to religion.... You can trace individual prosperity, economic growth back to the Bible, the Old Testament. Isn't it amazing?" (Radio show, 6/28/93)

REALITY: Amazingly wrong. Genesis 41 is about the wisdom of instituting taxes, not cutting them. After Pharaoh had a dream that prophesied seven fat years to be followed by seven lean years, Joseph advised him to "appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years...and lay up corn under the hands of Pharaoh." In other words, a 20 percent tax on the grain harvest would put aside food for use during the famine. Pharaoh took Joseph's advice, and Egypt avoided hunger during the famine.

Weird Science

LIMBAUGH: "It has not been proven that nicotine is addictive, the same with cigarettes causing emphysema [and other diseases]." (Radio show, 4/29/94)

REALITY: Nicotine's addictiveness has been reported in medical literature since the turn of the century. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop's 1988 report on nicotine addiction left no doubts on the subject; "Today the scientific base linking smoking to a number of chronic diseases is overwhelming, with a total of 50,000 studies from dozens of countries," states Encyclopedia Britannica's 1987 "Medical and Health Annual."

LIMBAUGH: "We closed down a whole town--Times Beach, Mo.--over the threat of dioxin. We now know there was no reason to do that. Dioxin at those levels isn't harmful." (Ought to Be, p. 163)

REALITY: "The hypothesis that low exposures [to dioxin] are entirely safe for humans is distinctly less tenable now than before," editorialized the New England Journal of Medicine after publishing a study (1/24/91) on cancer mortality and dioxin. In 1993, after Limbaugh's book was written, a study of residents in Seveso, Italy had increased cancer rates after being exposed to dioxin, The EPA's director of environmental toxicology said this study removed one of the last remaining doubts about dioxin's deadly effects (AP, 8/29/93).

LIMBAUGH: "The worst of all of this is the lie that condoms really protect against AIDS. The condom failure rate can be as high as 20 percent. Would you get on a plane -- or put your children on a plane -- if one of five passengers would be killed on the flight? Well, the statistic holds for condoms, folks." (Ought to Be, p. 135)

REALITY: A one in five AIDS risk for condom users? Not true, according to Dr. Joseph Kelaghan, who evaluates contraceptives for the National Institutes of Health. "There is substantive evidence that condoms prevent transmission if used consistently and properly," he said. He pointed to a nearly two-year study of couples in which one partner was HIV-positive. Among the 123 couples who used condoms regularly, there wasn't a single new infection (AP, 8/29/93).

LIMBAUGH: "Most Canadian physicians who are themselves in need of surgery, for example, scurry across the border to get it done right: the American way. They have found, through experience, that state medical care is too expensive, too slow and inefficient, and, most important, it doesn't provide adequate care for most people." (Told You So, p. 153)

REALITY: "Mr. Limbaugh's claim simply isn't true," says Dr. Hugh Scully, chair of the Canadian Medical Association's Council on Healing and Finance. "The vast majority of Canadians, including physicians, receive their care here in Canada. Those few Canadians who receive health care in the U.S. most often do because they have winter homes in the States--like Arizona and Florida--and have emergent health problems there." Medical care in Canada is hardly "too expensive"; it's provided free and covered by taxes.

LIMBAUGH: "If you have any doubts about the status of American health care, just compare it with that in other industrialized nations." (Told You So, p. 153)

REALITY: The United States ranks 19th in life expectancy and 20th in infant mortality among 23 industrialized nations, according to the CIA's 1993 World Fact Book. The U.S. also has the lowest health care satisfaction rate (11 percent) of the 10 largest industrialized nations (Health Affairs, vol. 9, no. 2).

LIMBAUGH: Denouncing Jeremy Rifkin of the Beyond Beef campaign as an "ecopest": "Rifkin is bent out of shape because he says the cattle consume enough grain to feed hundreds of millions of people. The reason the cattle are eating the grain is so they can be fattened and slaughtered, after which they will feed people, who need a high protein diet." (Ought To Be, p. 110)

REALITY: Sixteen pounds of grain and soy is required to produce one pound of edible food from beef (USDA Economic Research Service). As for needing a "high-protein diet," the World Health Organization and U.S. Department of Agriculture recommend that from 4.5 percent to 6 percent of daily calories come from protein. The amount of calories from protein in rice is 8 percent; in wheat it's 17 percent (USDA Handbook No. 456).

LIMBAUGH: "Do you know we have more acreage of forest land in the United States today than we did at the time the constitution was written." (Radio show, 2/18/94)

REALITY: In what are now the 50 U.S. states, there were 850 million acres of forest land in the late 1700s vs. only 730 million today (The Bum's Rush, p. 136). Limbaugh's claim also ignores the fact that much of today's forests are single-species tree farms, as opposed to natural old-growth forests which support diverse ecosystems.

Brotherhood...and Sisterhood

LIMBAUGH: "The videotape of the Rodney King beating played absolutely no role in the conviction of two of the four officers. It was pure emotion that was responsible for the guilty verdict." (Radio show, quoted in FRQ, Summer/93)

REALITY: "Jury Foreman Says Video Was Crucial in Convictions", read an accurate Los Angeles Times headline the day after the federal court verdict (4/20/93).

LIMBAUGH: "Anytime the illegitimacy rate in black America is raised, Rev. Jackson and other black 'leaders' immediately change the subject." (Ought to Be, p. 225)

REALITY: Jesse Jackson has been talking about and against "children having children" in speeches and interviews for decades. So have many other black leaders, especially in the clergy.

LIMBAUGH: Praising Strom Thurmond for calling a gay soldier "not normal": "He's not encumbered by being politically correct.... If you want to know what America used to be--and a lot of people wish it still were--then you listen to Strom Thurmond." (TV show, 9/1/93)

REALITY: In the America that "used to be," Strom Thurmond was one of the country's strongest voices for racism, running for president in 1948 on the slogan, "Segregation Forever."

LIMBAUGH: "There are more American Indians alive today than there were when Columbus arrived or at any other time in history. Does this sound like a record of genocide?" (Told You So, p. 68)

REALITY: According to Carl Shaw of the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs, estimates of the pre-Columbus population of what later became the United States range from 5 million to 15 million. Native populations in the late 19th century fell to 250,000, due in part to genocidal policies. Today the U.S.'s Native American population is about 2 million.

LIMBAUGH: "Women were doing quite well in this country before feminism came along." (Radio show, quoted in FRQ, Summer/93)

REALITY: Before feminism, women couldn't even vote.

LIMBAUGH: "Anita Hill followed Clarence Thomas everywhere. Wherever he went, she wanted to be right by his side, she wanted to work with him, she wanted to continue to date him.... There were no other accusers who came forth after Anita Hill did and said, 'Yeah, Clarence Thomas, he harassed me, too.' There was none of that." (TV show, 5/4/94)

REALITY: Hill could not have continued to date Thomas, since they never dated. Two other women, Sukari Hardnett and Angela Wright, came forth in the Thomas case with similar charges.

LIMBAUGH: "Now I got something for you that's true--1972, Tufts University, Boston. This is 24 years ago--or 22 years ago. Three year study of 5000 co-eds, and they used a benchmark of a bra size of 34C. They found that the--now wait. It's true. The larger the bra-size, the smaller the IQ." (TV show, 5/13/94)

REALITY: Dr. Burton Hallowell, president of Tufts in the '60s and '70s, had "absolutely no recollection" of such a study, according to Tufts' communications office. "I surely would have remembered that!" he exclaimed. Limbaugh's staff was unable to produce any such study. A search of the Nexis database--while revealing no evidence of a Tufts study--did produce a number of women theorizing that the presence of large breasts caused a lowering of IQ in some males.

The Clinton Obsession

LIMBAUGH: On Whitewater: "I don't think the New York Times has run a story on this yet. I mean, we haven't done a thorough search, but I--there has not been a big one, front-page story, about this one that we can recall. So this has yet to create or get up to its full speed--if it weren't for us and the Wall Street Journal and the American Spectator, this would be one of the biggest and most well kept secrets going on in American politics today." (TV show, 2/17/94)

REALITY: The New York Times broke the Whitewater story on March 8, 1992, in a front-page story by Jeff Gerth that included much of the key information known today. The investigative article ran over 1700 words.

LIMBAUGH: "You know the Clintons send Chelsea to the Sidwell Friends private school.... A recent eighth grade class assignment required students to write a paper on 'Why I Feel Guilty Being White". '... My source for this story is CBS News. I am not making it up." (Radio show, quoted in the Chicago Sun-Times, 1/16/94.)

REALITY: When Richard Roeper of the Chicago Sun-Times called CBS, the network denied running such a story. Ellis Turner, the director of external affairs for Sidwell Friends, told Roeper: "There is no legitimacy to the story that has been circulating.... We're anxious to let people know that this story is not true." The essay topic would be particularly difficult for the 28 percent of the school's student body that is not white.

LIMBAUGH: "You better pay attention to the 1993 budget deal because there is an increase in beer and alcohol taxes." (Radio show, 7/9/93)

REALITY: There were no increases in beer and alcohol taxes in the 1993 budget.

LIMBAUGH: The lead item on a page of "Stupid Quotes" in the May '94 Limbaugh Letter--subtitled, "Folks, I don't make this stuff up"--was a quote attributed to Eleanor Clift on the McLaughlin Group: "Hillary and Bill Clinton cheating on their taxes was a protest against the Reagan era tax breaks for the wealthy.... They knew... the IRS would catch up to them and tack penalties.... If more people had been as far-sighted and altruistic as the Clintons, we could retroactively erase the deficit." REALITY: Rush Limbaugh, April Fool. The item came from the April Fools Day issue of a right-wing newsletter Notable Quotables. Each item in the newsletter was dated April 1 and the issue signed off with the words "April Fools." (The Limbaugh Letter later printed a correction on this and another April Fools quote used as fact.)

Fractured History

LIMBAUGH: Quotes President James Madison: "We have staked the future...upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God." (Told You So, p. 73)

REALITY: "We didn't find anything in our files remotely like the sentiment expressed in the extract you sent to us," David B. Mattern, the associate editor of The Madison Papers, told the Kansas City Star (1/16/94). "In addition, the idea is entirely inconsistent with everything we know about Madison's views on religion and government."

LIMBAUGH: "And it was only 4,000 votes that--had they gone another way in Chicago--Richard Nixon would have been elected in 1960." (TV show, 4/28/94)

REALITY: Kennedy won the 1960 election with 303 electoral votes to 219 for Nixon. Without Illinois' 27 electoral votes, Kennedy would still have won, 276-246.

LIMBAUGH: On how to stop riots: "Richard Daley, in 1968, in the Democratic National Convention, issued an order--where there were rumors of riots--he issued a shoot-to-kill order. And there were no riots and there was no civil disobedience and no shots were fired and nobody was hurt. And that's what ought to happen." (TV show, 6/10/93)

REALITY: Mayor Daley's shoot-to-kill order was issued not at the Democratic Convention, but following the April 4, 1968 Martin Luther King assassination. Daley wasn't reacting to "rumors of riots" since riots had already broken out. The shoot-to-kill order hardly put an end to unrest--since four months after Daley's order, protestors flocked to Chicago's Democratic Convention and engaged in riotous civil disobedience. Protesters chanted, "The whole world is watching." Except for Rush Limbaugh.

LIMBAUGH: In an attack on Spike Lee, director of Malcolm X, for being fast and loose with the facts, Limbaugh introduced a video clip of Malcolm X's "daughter named Betty Shabazz." (TV show, 11/17/92)

REALITY: Betty Shabazz is Malcolm X's widow.

LIMBAUGH: "Those gas lines were a direct result of the foreign oil powers playing tough with us because they didn't fear Jimmy Carter." (Told You So, p. 112)

REALITY: The first--and most serious--gas lines occurred in late 1973/early 1974, during the administration of Limbaugh hero Richard Nixon.

LIMBAUGH: On Iran-Contra special prosecutor Lawrence Walsh: "This Walsh story basically is, we just spent seven years and $40 million looking for any criminal activity on the part of anybody in the Reagan administration, and guess what? We couldn't find any. These guys didn't do anything, but we wish they had so that we could nail them. So instead,we're just going to say, 'Gosh, these are rotten guys.' They have absolutely no evidence. There is not one indictment. There is not one charge." (TV show, 1/19/94)

REALITY: Walsh won indictments against 14 people in connection with the Iran-Contra scandal including leading Reagan administration officials like former Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger and former national security advisers Robert McFarlane and John Poindexter. Of the 14, 11 were convicted or pleaded guilty. (Two convictions were later overturned on technicalities--including that of occasional Limbaugh substitute Oliver North.)

LIMBAUGH: Explaining why the Democrats wanted to "sabotage" President Bush with the 1990 budget deal: "Now, here is my point. In 1990, George Bush was president and was enjoying a 90 percent plus approval rating on the strength of our victories in the Persian Gulf War and Cold War." (ToldYou So, p. 304)

REALITY: In October 1990, when the budget deal was concluded the Gulf War had not yet been fought.

LIMBAUGH: On the Gulf War: "Everybody in the world was aligned with the United States except who? The United States Congress." (TV show, 4/18/94)

REALITY: Both houses of Congress voted to authorize the U.S. to use force against Iraq.

LIMBAUGH: On Bosnia:

"For the first time in military history, U.S. military personnel are not under the command of United States generals." (TV show, 4/18/94)

REALITY: That's news to the Pentagon. "How far back do you want to go?" asked Commander Joe Gradisher, a Pentagon spokesperson. "Americans served under Lafayette in the Revolutionary war." Gradisher pointed out several famous foreign commanders of U.S. troops, including France's Marshall Foch, in overall command of U.S. troops in World War I. In World War II, Britain's General Montgomery led U.S. troops in Europe and North Africa, while another British General, Lord Mountbatten, commanded the China-Burma-India theatre.

Personal Attacks

LIMBAUGH: Limbaugh constantly tells his audience that he doesn't make personal or ad hominem attacks. To a caller who had a problem with his personalized attacks, Limbaugh responded with a denial: "Give me a specific example: who, what, when, where, and what exactly did I say?" (Radio show, 2/18/94)

REALITY: One hour before that call, Limbaugh was telling his audience that a 5,000-year-old man found buried in ice--pictured on the cover of Time magazine--was really Sally Jesse Raphael: "This is just what Sally Jesse Raphael looks like without makeup!"

MORE REALITY: Columnist Molly Ivins reported (Arizona Republic 10/17/93) this incident from Limbaugh's TV show--"Here is a Limbaugh joke: Everyone knows the Clintons have a cat. Socks is the White House cat. But did you know there is a White House dog?" And he puts up a picture of Chelsea Clinton. Chelsea Clinton is 13 years old.

LIMBAUGH: Assailing a journalist who had criticized Nixon: "Michael Gartner, portraying himself as a balanced, objective journalist with years and years of experience faking events, and then reporting them as news--and doing so with the express hope of destroying General Motors in one case and destroying businesses that cut down trees, the timber industry, in another." (TV show, 4/27/94)

REALITY: Gartner, the NBC News president who resigned in the wake of the GM truck explosion episode on NBC's Dateline, had no hands-on role in it--nor had he expressed a hope of destroying any company.

LIMBAUGH: Equally accurate when denouncing a fellow conservative, he said of right-wing journalist Cliff Kincaid: "He's written all kinds of pieces about how I don't go make speeches for free, for the cause.... He's just one more of these little gnats out there trying to sink a Boeing 747 that's leaving him in a cloud of dust." (Radio show, 11/19/93)

REALITY: Kincaid's only published piece on whether Limbaugh does speeches "for the cause" was in Human Events (7/27/91): "He does his bit for conservatives when the movement calls. He waived his fees, for instance, when he emceed at roasts for Oliver North and Paul Weyrich and addressed the National Right to Life convention."

Limbaugh vs. Limbaugh

LIMBAUGH: Limbaugh frequently denies that he uses his show for political activism: "I have yet to encourage you people or urge you to call anybody. I don't do it. They think I'm the one doing it. That's fine. You don't need to be told when to call. They think you are a bunch of lemmings out there." (Radio show, 6/28/93)

REALITY: Just an hour after making the above claim, he was--as usual--sending his troops to the trenches: "The people in the states where these Democratic senators are up for reelection in '94 have to let their feelings be known.... These senators, you let them know. I think Wisconsin's one state. Let's say Herb Kohl is up in '94. You people in Wisconsin who don't like this bill, who don't like the tax increases, you let Herb Kohl know somehow."

LIMBAUGH: On the poverty line: "$14,400 for a family of four. That's not so bad." (Radio show, 11/9/93, quoted in FRQ, Winter/94)

REALITY: Just a few months earlier, Limbaugh was talking about how tough it was to make 10 times that: "I know families that make $180,000 a year and they don't consider themselves rich. Why, it costs them $20,000 a year to send their kids to school." (Radio show, 8/3/93, quoted in FRQ, Winter/94)

LIMBAUGH: On Bill Clinton: "Never trust a draft dodger." (Radio show, quoted in FRQ, Summer/93)

REALITY: Although a supporter of the Vietnam War, Limbaugh used a minor physical impairment to avoid the draft (Minneapolis Star Tribune, 9/27/93).

LIMBAUGH: In frequent broadcasts, Limbaugh offers impassioned advocacy for Paula Jones, who charged Bill Clinton with sexual harassment. (TV and radio, April-May/94)

REALITY: Limbaugh boasted that a sign on his office door reads, "Sexual harassment at this work station will not be reported. However...it will be graded!!!" (USA Weekend, 1/26/92).

They place an ad and offer $10,000 to try and buy a scientist who will pen an essay or two against the mainstream scientific community. The American Enterprise Institute has done just that. And where does AEI get some of its money to support this so called think tank? You guessed it: EXXON-MOBIL!

I’ve listened to the morons and scientifically illiterate columnists and the right wing for the last few years and I’ve had enough. I get a real kick out of some of the asinine analysis and columns I read where people who have so little scientific background actually believe they understand what is going on and pontificate that globally warming or massive climate change can’t be happening because they have INVESTIGATED IT!

Wow! I also love when these right-wing lunatics like Glenn Beck bring onto his show people like Bjorn Lomborg who has been so discredited by the scientific community as fraud and an idiot, and Beck claims he is a climate expert!

Now in their last desperate grasp to continue their disinformation of science to the American populace AEI had decided to try to go out and buy someone. Here are the damn facts:

1) Climate Change and or Global Warming are occurring and we as humans are at least partially responsible for it.

2) A staggering majority of the world’s best climate and environmental scientists (probably over 96%) after viewing all the data and the best models believe it is happening. The lunatics on the Right will always find some incompetent or paid for whore scientist or two to say the opposite. Furthermore, there are few legitimate scientists who don’t believe it and that is their choice but that case can be made for any scientific study. There are a handful of scientists that don’t believe in evolution also but that doesn’t stop the process from happening.

3) The right wing lunatics don’t want Americans to believe in Global Warming because these are the same people who don’t want to stop any pollution in this country because they don’t believe it hurts anything. They don’t give a f..k that industry externalizes the costs to the public. There is also a certain portion on the right who believe in dominion theology, and believe we should pollute the earth because God is coming and he’ll take care of them

4) All nations of the world must participate in slowing down this process including ChinaIndia. These nations cannot be given carte blanche because their industries are massively polluting the atmosphere as they go through their industrial revolutions. and

5) The USA must be come an efficient nation in energy use and conservation. We use and waste more energy than most nations.

6) The economic costs world wide long term (and perhaps in a much shorter time than we believe) outweigh any short term economic loss from starting on such a project. The failure to do this will be catastrophic to our country because we have a global economy and anyone who thinks it doesn’t hurt us is in for a surprise. Who will you sell your goods and services to if parts of the world are in chaos?

7) The attacks on science by the lunatics who believe in mysticism and magic must be met head on because they have put this world into the Dark Ages we now face.

So who are you going to trust: the AEI’s of the world who must buy scientists and columnists with money from EXXON MOBIL or 95% of the world’s best scientists? Or will you trust some redneck that writes a column and has a website who says he’s investigated it? Or the Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaughs of the World? Since these people are so good at science maybe the next time you feel sick and need medical help you can just call one of them and save yourself some money. A few weeks back the elder Bush broke into tears while giving a speech about his other off spring, Neil Bush the governor of Florida. Supposedly Neil lost a previous election because of the so called dirty tricks that the Democrats used on Neil. Bush was just heart broken over the failure of his son to win and blamed it on the dirty tricks of the Democrats.

Never in the history of a nation has any one family been more corrupt in America and treated with such soft gloves by the media and society. The Bush Crime Family goes back generations and if thoroughly investigated and exposed would be called some of the greatest war criminals of all time.

The Bush Family control over the media goes back to when Bush was director of the CIA. There is no doubt that Bush knows secrets and has connections which scare the media, the American Industrial Complex and even law enforcement.

Loftus said Prescott Bush must have been aware of what was happening in Germany at the time. "My take on him was that he was a not terribly successful in-law who did what Herbert Walker told him to. What is also at issue is how much money Bush made from his involvement. His supporters suggest that he had one token share. Loftus disputes this, citing sources in "the banking and intelligence communities" and suggesting that the Bush family, through George Herbert Walker and Prescott, got $1.5m out of the involvement. There is, however, no paper trail to this sum.

War profiteering is in the blood of the Bush line. George Bush Sr. belongs to the military industrial complex investment group known as the Carlyle Group. Members include the likes of James Baker, former secretary of Defense Frank Carlucci, and former British Prime Minister John Major. At one time The Bin Laden Family was also a member. The networking that this group has is beyond belief, and their connection to the defense industries, the pentagon, and department of defense is second to none. With former Secretary of Defense Carlucci these people know which buttons to push and which doors to bang on. This is probably the most corrupted vested interest that anyone in Washington has seen in a long time. But it goes on and on, and the Carlyle Group isn’t even registered as a lobbyist but what they do is exactly that and a lot more. They also donate large sums of money to the political campaigns of these people. And they get what they want no matter what the cost to America. The evil history repeats itself. Just as in the time of Prescott Bush, the media, Wall Street, the corporations turned their back on what was being done and participated in the cover-up and the same thing is happening now in this country.

But when 911 occurred it served as the perfect venue to confuse and misinform the American people. Bush in his delusional thoughts believes that history will judge him correct on what he has done. But only the insane rhetoric of revisionist’s historians could consider this man anything but a lunatic. Roberts is a conservative which shows you just how far away from sanity Bush and the Neocons have gone. This war has always been about Israel and her so called protection. The problem is that this is just another disinformation plot provided by Bush and a small bunch of Jews who run AIRPAC and others in the Jewish lobby. Most Jews in America and in Israel want the Palestinians to have their own state. Israel has the most powerful military in the world next to the US and they probably have the best intelligence. They also have nuclear weapons contrary to whatever they say. The other nations are a limited threat to say the least but it’s the aggressive handful of Arab-Hating lunatics in Israel and America’s AIRPAC that cause much of the problems in the Middle East. If you lived in a country near Israel would you trust them? Two of their soldiers were kidnapped by Hezbollah for an exchange of prisoners and they decided to start a war and bomb Syria. This was just an excuse for war and the American Media as usual sucked it all in. Read President Jimmy Carter’s book. Carter is an honest man and knows more about the Middle East than all the people in the Bush Regime.

Bush needs to be removed before he bombs the rest of the Middle East on behalf of AIRPAC, the Neocons and the handful of “super wasps” who wish to rule the world. History will judge him that is true but his children’s children will hide in shame and perhaps change their names because Bush will go down as the lunatic who screwed up the entire world more than any leader in recent times. Rumsfeld by any objective measure is a total disaster who failed to understand the culture, the religion, the politics and the logistics of what he and his Neocons did in Iraq. Iraq is a hundred times worse than what the media coverage has shown. It is so bad that Bush recently had to meet with Iraqi leaders in Jordon because no one could guarantee his safety if the president landed in Iraq!

Michael Richards: The N Word and The PC Police

Michael Richards had a bad night at a comedy club with his performance and with some hecklers who didn’t like his use of the N Word. In a rage Richards screamed the N word at a black heckler who evidently took offense to part of Richards’ skit in which the N word was used. Today the media and PC police including other comics are attacking Richards over the incident. Richards made an apology on Letterman last night while Seinfeld sat next to Letterman and tried to add some seriousness to the performance of Richards.

The Hollywood World and the Politically Correct Police are now out in full force demanding the blood of Richards because they feel his act of contrition was not good enough. Perhaps nothing in our PC society is as superficial as this moment in time and the condemnation of Richards whose comedy routine just didn’t make it to say the least. We are a nation of superficial acts while Rome Burns. Comedy will always push the bounds of race, politics, religion, culture, and sex to mention just a few.

The thing which is most amazing is when rappers and music artists use the N word time after time and treat and call women whores and hoes in songs and videos where is the outrage from these same people? In fact, many of the celebs and comics who condemned Richards attend parties by these musicians and their record labels. I guess that martini in your hand can numb the effects of the N word being used in their songs. There is a double standard at work here and the media refuses to touch it.

Black comedians like Richard Pryor, Chris Rock and others have pushed the envelope on race, sex (including gays), and have said numerous things which patrons could have taken offense to. But it is alright when they use N word, or fag, degrade women, or make sexist comments but it’s not alright if a white comedian does it! Why? Well obviously there is a double standard and readily apparent to anyone who wants to see it.

I photographed a few professional sporting events in my life including some professional basketball games. I don’t know what it’s like now sitting underneath the basket at a basketball arena doing photography but years ago I heard the N word from players yelling at each other on more than one occasion. They aren’t calling each other brother when they smash each other underneath the rim!

I am an Italian American. The movies, videos, and books paint all Italians as being in the mob. Look at the great success of the Sopranos and movies like the Godfather etc. If you did a statistical analysis of the movies using Italian characters I ‘m sure it would show that we are normally portrayed in a bad light and have some connection to crime. Do I go ballistic every time I see such a portrayal? If I did I wouldn’t get anything done in my life because it’s a constant reinforcement of these stereotypes. I don’t know if Michael Richards is racist I personally don’t think he is but it really doesn’t matter what I think. But I do know this if the PC police are going to swing the sword and want more of Richards’ blood there are two edges of that sword , and they might be very careful because the edge that they are not looking at may swing right at their heads the next time. Where does one draw the line between bad tastes versus racism? Where does one draw the line between political discourse and outright hatred whether it’s on the right or the left? Where does one draw the line between what a black comedian can say and a white comedian can’t? Where does one draw the line between free speech and oppression of that speech because it offends someone? If Richards is guilty or racism instead of bad taste and a poor comedy routine then who will be the next to take the hit because you talked about a fat chick or gays, Republicans or Democrats or whatever. Get over it! The world is going to hell in Iraq and the environment is being destroyed and we are wasting time over this! This is what democracy is about. It’s about bad taste. It’s about bad comedy skits. It’s about bad political views ….because democracy isn’t here to protect what you think is right, it’s here to protect what you find offensive and perhaps to some of you racist too! But just remember that when someone thinks what you say is offensive and labels you that. Whether it’s the N word or Wop or Dago perhaps we should remember the context it was said in and get on with our lives quit parading out the PC Police in our superficial world!

Milton Friedman the Nobel Prize winning economist passed away recently. Those who think they know capitalism will eulogize Friendman as a friend of capitalism and the free market but a closer analysis of Friedman’s ideas show that his ideas were more in line with the New Fascism that runs this country under Corporatism. Friedman was a member of many so called think tanks including the “Hoover Institute." People who scream that this is laissez-faire capitalism lack a serious understanding of economics but most economists appear to be clueless at what this is really about too.

Friedman believed that America worked best under the “invisible hand” of allowing markets to proceed without any government intervention as stated by Adam Smith. However, this is one of the great ruses of the American Political System. In Friedman’s world the cost of pollution was externalized to the public. In a true laissez-faire system if you pollute it you pay to clean it up and restore it. Basically what Friendman advocates was government welfare for corporations, in other words..Corporatism! In Friedman’s world the public or the government pays for the corporation’s true external expense so that the company can be prosperous. Just check out all the government write offs, tax breaks, grants, and other nonsense the oil industry gets from the federal government. This is capitalism? Looks like pure government welfare to anyone with an IQ above that of a ground hog!

This form of Corporatism can be seen in many industries today. Take the illegal immigrant population that work in many corporations and even small business. The argument is made by the Neofascist Chambers of Commerce that these businesses couldn’t survive without this cheap labor and would go out of business and people would lose their jobs. So frickin what…that’s called Capitalism! If you can’t make it as a business why should the public pay your expenses for medical and other charges for the illegal immigrants? Go out of business...the weaker business shouldn't survive now should they under a true capitalistic society!

This is corporate welfare at its best! Another example of this are related health costs and problems associated with pollution that companies refuse to talk about. This is all Friedman’s world. A world in which companies have no responsibility but only look at the bottom line while taking money out of the pockets of the populace because they externalized the true costs to us. This is called Capitalism? I don’t think so! Friedman was an arrogant man who never truly understood systems. A system whether it’s a lake or economic one has inputs, outputs, flow etc., Friedman like many economists take the data they like and ignore what they don't like (the externalities), and they call it a free market. I doubt if most intelligent people would agree. So the next time someone screams free market find out how much you are paying because there exists few free markets in the world. As someone once said…”there is no free lunch.”

Glenn Beck of Headline News is at it again. His latest rants are that the terrorists are coming. Once again he is baiting his audience with foreign website propaganda and so called videos of extremists that are going to blow up America. Yes, we know that some of these people want to kill us all but we also know that we are making more terrorists by our policies and presence in the Middle East which the dim witted Beck fails to connect. He is quoting the most recent rhetoric from both Israel and Iran, and I guess he wants us to just blow up Iran. That would solve all of the problems wouldn’t it?

Beck can be considered Rush Limbaugh Lite of TV Land (he is also on over 200 radio stations which tells you something about right-wing talk radio). Beck is nothing more than a right-wing nut that somehow landed on TV because CNN wanted some right-wing lunatic to counter Fox Network's claim that CNN is liberal! Beck has had serious family problems and related alcoholism. We feel for his health and the problems his family has had but it appears that people who have these kinds of problems go to the opposite ends of the spectrum and usually find God and become extreme (remember Bush had alcohol problems and also went to the extreme from his partying ways). Beck is famous for idiotic comments like comparing the crazed Senator Rick Santorum from Pennsylvania to Winston Churchill or claiming that if the Democrats took over Congress it would be scary and hurt this country. You must wonder which planet this guy has been living on for the last six years. Beck once stated that he likes the fact that Bush has his finger on the nuclear button because it will scare our enemies. Right knucklehead, except these people think they are getting a whole bunch of virgin girls and aren’t afraid to die. You do remember they flew the planes into the building don’t you Becky? In another piece on Headline News Beck compares Howard Dean to Iranian President Ahmadinjad! All of these lunatics have similar talking points which go back to my comment on recovering from one life style of alcoholism and drugs to the extremity of a religious experience. They all use the same mechanisms and rhetoric:

• God is coming and we are going to have an Apocalyptic and Armageddon type ending to the planet with war. This is why we must attack everyone now.
• An extreme support for Israel no matter what Israel does or says because they believe in some strange myth popularized by a minister thrown out of his church years ago that all the Jews must go back to Israel so that Christ will return to earth.
• Anti-environmental and anti-scientific teachings because we should use up everything on earth because God is coming anyway. They reject most science for mysticism.
• The use of fear and guilt to control the population and the country. These people are always moralizing about everyone’s behavior but seldom can they look themselves in the mirror.
• Little or no knowledge about other countries, cultures, people and religions. They see the world only through their own warped viewpoint and this is reflected in everything they say or do.

Like most of these idiots Beck sees the world in simple black and white which is common for people on either extreme. Beck often makes fun of his guests and is anti-science and anti-environmental and laughs at such things as Global Warming. Beck’s limited understanding of politics and the world should make him a possibility for Bush’s cabinet because he would fit right in with the rest of the geniuses including psychopath Cheney and the clueless Rice. Beck is a big backer of Bush and his policies but he claims he’s not a Republican just a Conservative. It’s too bad Beck never heard of Barry Goldwater because I don’t think for twenty seconds Goldwater would call Beck a Conservative. Beck believes and tries to convince his audience that he has all the answers. The problem is he doesn’t even understand the questions!

Beck is a dangerous man because he can reach a lot of people on Headline News and with his radio show, and his simplicity appeals to people who don’t have the time or will make the effort to research the truth. He has these rants often and this one is probably as dangerous as any of them because he now thinks he is an intelligence expert and that we should act right now to stop any terrorist threat. There is no doubt that terrorists will try and strike this country again however, to react to every single piece of rhetoric and propaganda thrown out there is another form of lunacy. We can never be totally safe contrary to what Bush and Cheney have said. We can however, change our Middle East Policy and get out of Iraq which we have totally destroyed. In this case more nations would join us in our fight against the terrorists but these countries can’t sell helping us to their citizens as long as we are making preemptive strikes over rhetoric and the poor use of misguided polices based on cherry picking the intelligence. We do remember those WMDs in Iraq don’t we? Too bad Glenn Beck doesn’t because maybe he wouldn’t be so ready to attack everyone who says something negative about the US or thinks someone is threatening us. Unfortunately these religious Apocalyptic lunatics aren’t really interested in truth just the sound of their own insane rhetoric.

The Republican Flag Wavers have lost. After six years of waving the American Flag rather than solve any problems they have been rejected by the American Electorate. In those six years while the Republicans waved the flag of nationalism and patriotism they raped this nation militarily, economically, socially, and environmentally. These included all of the following:

• They have destroyed our military by spreading them too thin. Pure and simple the “chickenhawks” like Bush, Cheney, and their Neocon confederates which include Krystal, and Pearle are responsible for the greatest American Military failure of all time. Under the delusional Rumsfeld their military strategy was flawed from the start. We never finished the job in Afghanistan and now it is returning to the Taliban. They never gave our troops the right equipment to fight including body armor and proper deployment because they were always seriously undermanned thanks to Rumsfeld’s attempt to run our military on the cheap with his scaled down version which the generals told him wouldn’t work from the beginning. Jack Murtha has described our ranks as decimated and it will take many generation of soldiers to repair what the Bush idiots have destroyed. Our greatest warrior in my life time, Col. David Hackworth said that these people were absolute idiots and he was right.

• The Economy has made this tremendous comeback right? Get a life. This is all done with smoke and mirrors. Almost all of the jobs recently created were service industry jobs too bad the media and the economists (econowhores as I call them) who work for these so called right-wing think tanks don’t report them. But don’t take my word for it try reading Counterpunch’s (www.counterpunch.com) Dr. Paul Craig Roberts. And who is Roberts? Is he some liberal socialist like the right-wing calls everyone who doesn’t buy their nonsense on the economy? Well he was the assistant secretary of the treasury UNDER RONALD REAGAN! That’s right, he is a conservative which proves my point over and over again that Bush and his Neofascists friends are not Republicans and not conservatives. This economy is in basic ruin and has no teeth. To all the morons out there who think you can make a living by working in the Wal-Mart’s of the world…..go get a job and try it!

• The American Middle Class has been destroyed and perhaps for good. The tax cuts given to the Super Rich by Bush and friends may be the final nail in the coffin for a middle class being attacked on all sides. The people who work for a living get raped by the 30 to 40 percent of the tax burden (federal, state, and local) but if you are a rich investor you only pay 15% capital gains. But this is just the beginning because the federal government has cut many programs to the states which raise the taxes locally and the middle class get screwed again. Add the tide of illegal immigration which hurts the middle class more than anyone and you have a middle class so heavily in debt and boxed in that they will never recover. It’s a wonderful world and all you need to do in America is work and you can make it.... right! That’s it.... just keep believing that because that’s what the right-wing wants you to swallow. It keeps them rich and in power.

• From global warming to air and water pollution we are destroying our planet and our country. From smallmouth bass in the Potomac River that are changing sex from the estrogen like chemicals that we dump into our waters to asphalt plants spewing out poisonous chemicals near elementary schools we have lost all sanity as a nation. I know because I work in that mess everyday. The destruction of science including the EPA by this administration can only be described as Orwellian.

• And finally the greatest scam called fighting terrorism. Just about every objective intelligence study and report shows that we are failing in our fight against terrorism and that we are less safe now than before 911. We are making more terrorists by our presence in Iraq and the Middle East. We have destroyed our own liberties under the guise of protection. This administration was asleep the day we got hit whether anyone likes it or not, and they have failed by invading Iraq. They never finished the job in Afghanistan. Iraq was not a threat to us and to all the idiots out there who think that you can actually fight “terrorism”… get a life. You don’t fight ideas. You can fight terrorists but first you have to pick out the right ones to fight and you then you need a strategy by intelligence and military experts not by a bunch of chickenhawk neocons that don’t have a clue to what’s going on in the world. Yes, many of these idiots still believe Iraq had WMDs. The WMDS in this case are Bush’s and the Neocons'…own BRAINS.

Republican Scum Machine Tries to Suppress and Intimidate Voters

The Republican Neofascists scum machine has tried to suppress and intimidate voters in many states. GOP-led voter intimidation and suppression are being reported in New Mexico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Connecticut, Michigan, California, Illinois, and Ohio and Virginia. George Allen’s Campaign is being charged by citizens in the state with some of the harassment including calling black residents and telling them they will be jailed if they vote. These included repeated “Robo-Calls” which start out sounding like a Democrat call and go on from there. The calls are repeated and repeated irritating the residents who hang up thinking they are coming from Democrats and are being used throughout the nation.

These are felonies and the FBI is investigating them. In Utah election fixing by Republicans is being investigated in the Daggertt County where more people voted than are registered. In Maryland a voter handbook by Republicans had methods listed so Republicans could intimidate voters.

It’s the same GRAND OLD PARTY trying to suppress the vote and destroy people’s rights everywhere. I love the Rednecks who refer to the Democrats as Socialists and Marxists because they believe in equal opportunity and fairness not only for the super rich but for everyone.

This has been a constant theme of the new fascism sweeping this country. Just trust US! Those black people aren’t smart enough to vote anyway…this is the mantra of the Republicans whether they say it or not because that’s what they want to do by suppressing votes. It’s a constant problem with these Right Wing Lunatics who preach their hateful form of White Supremacist Christianity.

You know that form of Christianity that allows you to beat on homosexuals while taking crystal meth and having sex with gay men like Ken Haggard. The hypocrisy of these people is beyond belief and they don’t believe in Democracy. They show it every election. They just want power and control of everyone. Barry Goldwater must be rolling over in his grave because he predicted this insane takeover of the Republican Party. You do remember Goldwater don’t you! He was basically thrown out of the Republican Party in Arizona before his death because he told the Republicans that they were basically fascists. He supported people that weren’t like him including gays, and was given an award by these organizations. He supported the Native Americans and had a great respect for them and their culture. He had respect for the environment. He told good true Christians that they should kick Jerry Falwell right in the ass because he was such a jerk.

Yes you do remember Goldwater don’t you! Now compare him to the Neofascists who claim to be Republicans today in order to suppress the rights of people. Barry Goldwater would be a“bleeding heart liberal” by today’s standards because he was a decent respectful human being that believed in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights for everyone…and I mean everyone. In his later life he even understood that his initial vote against certain minorities was wrong and admitted it.

He was man who learned from his mistakes and understood what it takes to be a human being. To bad the Republican Party have sunk to depths of what they now call politics in the name of winning. Harold Ford Could Lose the Senate Race Thanks to Good Old Republican Racism!

Racism by the Republican Party is alive and well and it’s been played in Tennessee. The attack on Harold Ford by the Corker camp under the direction of Mehlman and Rove could be a winning strategy for the racists Republicans who fear the race is too close and need the Southern Strategy to win it. Just as Lyndon Johnson gave the South back to the Republicans with the passing of the Civil Rights Act, the commercial featuring a white blond woman pretending to talk to a black Harold Ford will do the jobs for the Republicans in Tennessee.

After viewing this commercial why would any sane black American ever vote for a Republican at the state or national level? The tokens blacks in the administration like clueless Condi Rice and the former administration patsy Colin Powell haven’t said a word. And with good reason …for all practical purposes they gave up their black heritage a long time ago.

Harold Ford has a good chance of now losing this race for two reasons. The first reason is that people will say one thing when interviewed but will vote with their racists’ tendencies once they get into the voting booth. The second reason is the recent commercial which basically calls all good old southern white boys to come out of the wood work and restore the South’s pride by teaching this “jigaboo” some manners about being with a white woman.

Corker who tried to say he wasn’t responsible for this ad is about as low a human being that crawls on the face of this earth. The ad has been cleaned up somewhat but this is just a ploy, the damage has been done. No matter what the Republicans say they always tend to show their true colors. The sad part is that Corker is now leading in the polls by upwards of 4-5%. This ad mobilized their base and once again told the truth that the South still remains a racist place and that polarization, hatred, racism and other evil deeds will get you elected.

What Ford should have done was to just walk up to Corker and “jacked” this jerk right between the eyes telling him, “you racist white fairy I’ve had enough of your slime and Mehlman and Rove are next.” What would the Republicans have done then? The Democrats or whoever is running against these trash ball politicians should get as dirty as they are and call these Republican politicians what they are: Racists Criminals.

The Democrats shouldn’t count their chickens before they hatch. The mid-terms might prove less successful than they believe. If you watch the talk shows and so called news programs one would believe that the Democrats will take back the House and the Senate on November 7th. But like most things in politics nothing is certain especially if you consider past elections and some of the techniques and perhaps outright thievery employed by The Right Wing Neo Fascists.

There are three reasons for the Democrats not being a sure thing in on November 7th:

1) Most Republicans will vote for any Republican that runs no matter what his sanity or criminal record. I live in one of the most Republican areas in the US and I can honestly say these people don’t follow what is going on in the world and don’t care either. They are going to vote Republican no matter what. The main reason for this is that most of them maintain racist views that have been transferred from generation to generation. If you ask them to articulate their views as compared to what each candidate’s are, you will find they are actually closer to the Democrats in most instances than the Republicans. But it doesn’t matter, they are still voting Republican.

2) The Republican Money Machine Blitz that is coming in the final week prior to the November 7th election. This has always been a winning strategy. The complete negative campaigns often touting misstatements, lies, and absolute nonsense if said over and over like Orwell predicted will work. It will mobilize their base and get a few undecided to vote for them. The Republicans are experts at this phase and the Democrats have never figured out how to stop it.

3) The outright thievery using electronic voting machines has occurred in the last election and will occur again in my estimation. Because I am a computer expert I know how easy these machines are to compromise. There is no doubt that the last election was stolen by Bush especially in the state of Ohio.

What can the Democrats do if this election is stolen again? Well, forget the politeness there should be riots in the streets! We are trying to enable a Democracy in Iraq yet we can’t even protect the Democracy in this country with a legitimate election.

The Republican Whoredom is Falling Apart

The Republican Whoredom is starting to fall apart. The media which allowed this to proceed is basically as guilty as the Republicans who are involved. As an environmental consultant I sometimes had work or speaking engagements in Washington D.C. It doesn’t take one very long to realize what a sleazy place D.C. is. It also doesn’t take one very long to realize why there is so much crime going on in D.C. The reason there is so much crime going on in D.C is because there is so much crime in Congress. The politicians especially the Republicans are up to there armpits in some of the sleaziest and most horrific crimes and behaviors imaginable.

There is an unholy alliance in my mind of D.C. crime and the crimes of the rich and powerful. These are the dark areas where Congressmen, Senators, aides, and lobbyist often lurk which include drugs, pedophilia, S & M, group sex, and of course: payoffs and corporate scandals. Only whispers are heard yet for the most part the media know exactly what’s going on but ignore it. I’m not saying the media should interfere with people’s personal lives but when the Republican Whoredom runs on family values and morals while screaming at homosexuals and the so called Democrat’s lack of morality but engages in every type of perverted behavior they preach against, may be it’s time the media did their jobs.

The media know where the gay bars are in D.C. and which Congressmen, Senators, aides and other power brokers frequent these places. While these people are cavorting with the “so called perverted homosexuals” they are condemning these people and trying to pass bills against them. The same is true of the strip clubs and the crowds from the hill that frequents them. Interviews with prostitutes and call girls show that the Republicans spend more money on such deviations during conventions and other meetings than Democrats (however, the girls say the Repubs are a lot cheaper than the Dems…what else is new).

The perversions of the Republican Party have been covered up for years from excessive drug use to the many homosexual connections going all the way to the White House even during Bush 1 ( Note: I’m not saying gay people are any less moral than heterosexuals but according to the Republican Right Wing Christian Doctrine they are perverts. I’m just using their verbiage against them). How do they get away with some of this stuff? Some of it is so bizarre most people would refuse to believe it (just realize many people still believe that Iraq had WMDs).

But the hypocrisy of the Republican Whoredom is nationwide. Below are some of their more famous hypocrites.

Republican Congressman Mark Foley abruptly resigned from Congress after "sexually explicit" emails surfaced showing him flirting with a 16-year old boy.
• Republican executive Randall Casseday of the conservative Washington Times newspaper was arrested for soliciting sex from a 13-year old girl on the internet.
• Republican chairman of the Oregon Christian Coalition Lou Beres confessed to molesting a 13-year old girl.
• Republican County Constable Larry Dale Floyd was arrested on suspicion of soliciting sex with an 8-year old girl. Floyd has repeatedly won elections for Denton County, Texas, constable.
• Republican judge Mark Pazuhanich pleaded no contest to fondling a 10-year old girl and was sentenced to 10 years probation.
• Republican Party leader Bobby Stumbo was arrested for having sex with a 5-year old boy.
• Republican petition drive manager Tom Randall pleaded guilty to molesting two girls under the age of 14, one of them the daughter of an associate in the petition business.
• Republican County Chairman Armando Tebano was arrested for sexually molesting a 14-year-old girl.
• Republican teacher and former city councilman John Collins pleaded guilty to sexually molesting 13 and 14 year old girls.
• Republican campaign worker Mark Seidensticker is a convicted child molester.
• Republican Mayor Philip Giordano is serving a 37-year sentence in federal prison for sexually abusing 8- and 10-year old girls.
• Republican Mayor Tom Adams was arrested for distributing child pornography over the internet.
• Republican Mayor John Gosek was arrested on charges of soliciting sex from two 15-year old girls.
• Republican County Commissioner David Swartz pleaded guilty to molesting two girls under the age of 11 and was sentenced to 8 years in prison.

• Republican president of the New York City Housing Development Corp. Russell Harding pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography on his computer.
• Republican benefactor of conservative Christian groups, Richard A. Dasen Sr., was found guilty of raping a 15-year old girl. Dasen, 62, who is married with grown children and several grandchildren, has allegedly told police that over the past decade he paid more than $1 million to have sex with a large number of young women.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. A true expose of what is going on will never occur because it would shake the foundations of this nation. The media would never print it and they are perhaps as guilty as anyone for allowing these people to speak in the name of God and Values!

What Bush And Rove Have Planned for the Democrats Come November!

The Democratic party believes that they will win the House and possibly the Senate in the mid-term elections in November. They have continued to underestimate the Bush Regime and believe voters will rationalize that these people have destroyed this nation and vote for the them. The following is very possible and will destroy the dreams of the Democratic Party: 1) The price of gas, oil and home heating fuel will drop prior to the election which is controlled by the Corporate Whoredom of Exxon and the likes which will allow people to forget about the fact they have been raped economically by this administration. This will occur because they are in bed with the Bush Neofascists 2) Rove, Cheney, Bush and the right wing crazies will make an all out attack on the Patriotism, and morality again 3) Get ready for another scare "attack" on the nation that they have just foiled another plot by terrorists to attack us 4) Watch out for possible military action somewhere in the world under the pretense of fighting terrorism as Bush, Cheney and Rove continue their action plan,including a possible capture or killing of Osama Bin Laden and 5) The hacking of electronic voting machines will continue. This is part of the reason Bush is in the White House. These people stole two elections and as a nation we sat by and watched.

No the criminals in the White House will not surrender the fort and the stupid Democrats are the only ones who actually believe in what use to be democracy! The Republicans never believed in it from the start and that's why they continue to hold all of the cards in this game!

Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld just can't help themselves....they just can't quit lying. They are sociopaths. These people have lied for so long that it's part of their personality. They are so good at lying that they have made it an art form. Today George Bush insisted that by torturing detainees that they have received vital information on terror. However, just about everyone in the intelligence community will tell you otherwise.

Bush aptly deflected the questions of the media and called Colin Powell confused about all of it. Everyone knows what is going on but these people still play their hands. Bush took the question of torturing detainees and said that Americans don’t torture people. The media allowed Bush to get away with this. Bush is right: Americans don’t torture people but our Government does and has been doing it for years.

Americans may have little knowledge of our tactics but the other nations of the world do. Bush who hid out in the National Guard during Vietnam is gutless armchair warrior. McCain who has many faults as a politician, nevertheless served his country proudly and went through torture. He knows what it is about while Bush and his cohorts Dr. Evil Cheney, and Dr. Delusion Rumsfeld believe they can succeed by using torture.

Colin Powel finally had the balls to say what he should have said when he was part of this administrtion that we have no moral standing in the world. But this doesn’t bother Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and many in the Republican Party because they are true sociopaths without any conscience. The Bush administration has basically destroyed America in the eyes of the rest of the world for many generations to come. But that doesn’t concern this group of people because they believe they can torture, intimidate, threaten, and bomb the world into accepting their sociopathic reality. They have already managed to do it with many people in this country but it appears the rest of the world knows a sociopath when they see one; it’s too bad our media doesn’t in this country.

We are less safe than ever because there are so many more people who want to kill and destroy us because of the war in the Middle East and for our country being the lackey for Israel no matter whether they are right or not. Condi Rice: Condi The Clueless!

I have many friends in the intelligence community and we'll leave it right there. However, for years they have been telling me that Condi Rice is about as dumb as a box of rocks. She lacks an understanding of foreign states as well as their culture. She is overwhelmed would be an understatement. But she must stand tall and pretend because the other token black, Colin Powell has left and isn't saying nice things about the Bush administration. Rice's limited understanding of the world doesn't play well with either side, especially the neocons (neofascists). Richard "the warmonger" Pearle wants to attack Iran and wants Condi removed. She is now being attacked by Newt Gingrich and others for basically being clueless.

Rice never belonged in any of the positions she received or inherited. She is the perfect example of someone who fit the profile of what was needed for the Republicans: a black female for Bush's Regime. Everyone who lives in America sees this in the workplace and is disgusted with it. This has nothing to do with being black but with persons put into positions because of whom they are and who they know versus being competent. But in this case the repercussions are serious..it's about life and death. The media of course has kissed Rice's ass because such is dictated by the politically correct, and she is seldom criticized.

Richard Clarke who broke the beans about Bush's lack of urgency and incompetence in the 9/11 attacks hinted about how dumb Rice was in many of his statements to the media and to Congress but it was ignored. Perhaps no other person in recent history has screwed more things in politics (except for Bush and Cheney) and has been so untouched by the media.

The world is spinning out of control as one my intelligence friends put it and Condi (or as some of them call her Condo) is clueless as usual!

Bush and Republicans Continue Their Attack on The Press and The Bill of Rights!

Bush Police State Goes After the New York Times!

Peter King (of course a Republican) charged the NY Times with espionage after the Times' story detailing the Bush Administration's and Treasurey Dept.'s going through U.S. citizens banking records. King says the Times are the worst culprits because they also expoesed the illegal wiretapping by the government.

Someone should just bitch slap some sense into this idiot's head. The Bush police state gets worse and worse everyday and no one does anything. Why doesn't someone inform King that everyone's records are available for a fee these days and only the citizens of the US don't have a right to know. Leave Americans' guns alone and you won't have these types of idiots elected. Ricky boy is losing by about 18% in the most recent Pennsylvania polling versus Casey.

I'm sure Ricky Boy will make up ground by election night epecially since some of the balloting will be rigged as usual. But we doubt if he can win. What will happen to this idiot? RFK Jr. not the Right Man For the Investigation of Election

Robert Kennedy Jr. is at it again. This time however, he's not pretending he's scientist (which he is not). He is now going to sue someone or something over the 2004 election results (http://www.prweek.com/us/news/open/free/blogs/564483). There is no doubt in my mind after a statistical analysis of poll data that there were some real problems with the election.

The popular media won't buy most of it because it would mean that our government is even more corrupt than most people believe and it would also cast total doubt on them because they do nothing more than print media releases as news. It would be total chaos and I imagine riots could break over time.

Kennedy is the wrong man because of his background of not getting much correct in the environmental arena (he stretches and cherry picks stuff just like the right does politically to meet his agenda). He is also the wrong man because he is inadequate as a speaker. He can barely talk and is easily frustrated and wines while on TV. Kennedy is seldom good when he can't use his notes. In fact, local reporters from small newspapers have told me that once off his talking points...he can't answer anything!

There is no doubt in my mind that the Republicans will try and steal the midterms too but Kennedy is not the man to stop them. I wish him luck even though I think he will fail.

The Failure of the Blogs: Pieces on a Game Board

There is a great article at Counterpunch by Cockburn (http://www.counterpunch.org/cockburn06192006.html) about how infective the democratic or liberal (not always the same) blogs and websites are. I've been telling people this for years that these groups are just preaching to the choir. Many of the blogs claim to scoop the press and they do on some things but they are wrong so often and end up being a joke including a number of them on the Carl Rove case.

The people who run many of these blogs and websites don't get it. They are being used by the govenment and intelligence communites. They are given a few tidbits that are true but the big stuff they are given is disinformation and falsehoods which they eagerly publish.

They don't realize just how diabolical this administration is. It's just a game to them. One big game and they are nothing more than a piece on the game board.
